1st day: Fes – Ifrane – Cedars forest- Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Sahara

On the first day of our 4 days Fes to Marrakech desert tour, we will begin with an early pick-up from your accommodation in Fes or from the airport. Our journey will take us south through Imouzzer to the charming town of Ifrane, known for its alpine-style houses, low temperatures, and snow. Often referred to as the "Switzerland of Morocco," Ifrane offers a unique and picturesque atmosphere. From there, we'll continue to the cedars forest, home to the Barbary Macaques. You'll have the opportunity to feed them while taking a leisurely stroll through the forest.

Our next stop will be Midelt, where we'll enjoy a delicious lunch before heading towards the majestic Sahara desert. As we drive through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and along the Ziz river, you'll be mesmerized by the stunning views. In the afternoon, we'll reach the Merzouga Sahara desert, where you'll switch to camels for an unforgettable ride across the sandy dunes. During the journey, we'll make a stop to admire the magical sunset from the top of a high dune.

As the night approaches, we'll arrive at our luxurious desert camp where you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the Berber culture. You'll enjoy the sounds of the traditional Berber drums while dancing around the campfire under the vast open sky of stars. Dinner will be served in the camp, and you'll spend the night in comfortable tents.

2nd day : Explore Merzouga region – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga lake – Erg Chebbi – palm grove

The second day of the 4 days Fes to Marrakech desert tour is an exciting opportunity to explore the stunning Merzouga region, which is filled with fascinating sights and activities. You will wake up early in the morning to witness the awe-inspiring sunrise over the desert, a truly magical experience that is not to be missed. After breakfast, you will ride your camel back to Merzouga, where your driver will be waiting to take you on an adventure.

There are so many incredible places to see in the Merzouga region, from the stunning sand dunes of Erg Chebbi to the wild lake of Merzouga, which is home to a variety of birds including the beautiful pink flamingos. You will also have the opportunity to explore the region's rich history and culture, including a visit to an ancient eyeliner mine and a chance to meet and learn about the nomads who call this region home.

One of the highlights of the day is a visit to the Khamlia village, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy Gnaoua music and dancing performances. The people of Khamlia originate from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan and Niger, and their music and culture is a unique and fascinating part of Morocco's heritage.

3rd day : Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

On the third day of our exciting adventure, we will leave the desert after breakfast and head to Rissani town, which was once the capital of Tafilalet. This vibrant town is still a major trading center in the region, and its large souk comes to life on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. You'll have the chance to wander around the souk and experience the bustling atmosphere.

After exploring Rissani, we'll continue our journey to Erfoud, where we will visit one of the workshops of fossilized marble. Then, we'll drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad to reach the magnificent Todra Gorges. The course of the Todra river has carved out a grand canyon through the mountains, creating a stunning red cliff-sided canyon that is perfect for rock climbers. You'll have some free time to wander around and appreciate the awe-inspiring natural beauty of the landscape.

We'll take a break for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our journey to the Dades valley, passing through Boumalne Dades along the way. We'll make some inevitable stops at the “monkey fingers” rock formation and on a spot atop a mountain overlooking the Dades valley. Finally, we'll end our day with a delicious dinner and comfortable overnight stay in a hotel. Get ready to immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery and rich culture of Morocco.

3rd day: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Ziz valley – Ifrane – Fes

On the fourth and final day of your 4 days desert tour from Fes, we embark on a memorable journey towards the beautiful Rose Valley, also known as Kalaa Magouna.
