9 Days Morocco Desert Tour

Merzouga is a small Moroccan town located in the Sahara Desert, near the Algerian border. Merzouga opens onto Erg Chebbi, a huge expanse of sand dunes north of the city. To the west is Dayet Srji, a seasonal salt lake, often dry in summer. When it fills up again, it attracts a wide variety of migratory and desert birds, including warblers, nightjars and, occasionally, flamingos.

The medina of Marrakech, a medieval district with the appearance of a labyrinth, is a lively place, with its Jemaa el-Fna square and its souks (markets) selling ceramics, jewelry and metal lanterns. The Oudayas Kasbah in Rabat, the capital, is a 12th-century royal fort overlooking the ocean.

After breakfast in your hotel our driver will pick you up to Hassan 2 Mosque which is known as one of the biggest Mosques in the world, where you will have free time to explore the Islamic architecture inside. After that visit we will take the highway to Rabat, the capital of morocco, where we will have a break for lunch then start visiting the most attractive monuments in Rabat such as, Oudaya Kasbah, Hassan tower and Mohamed 5th mausoleum. After you enjoyed your time in Rabat, we will leave toward Fes then drop you to you hotel / riad.

In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Fes then start the first day of our trip. Our first stop will be in Ifrane City, known as the Switzerland of morocco. It's a good place to do winter sports here in Morocco. We will leave this place and go on to the Cedar forest of Azrou, where you will have the chance to see wild monkeys and take pictures. We continue our way to Midelt, the Apple town of Morocco. It has got its name because it is located in the middle of an apple-growing area. After our break for lunch there we will go on, passing by Al Hassan Addakhil Dam, which is used to keep water for the Ziz valley agricultural and of course to provide flood protection (possibility for taking pictures). Our next stop on this way is on the panoramic view of Ziz Valley. The valley presents a great view of Palm trees (the second biggest of Palm trees in whole Morocco) between high cliffs, which date to the Jurassic period. We will continue our way to Merzouga/Erg Chebbi Sahara desert where your camels will be waiting for you to bring you by an unforgettable adventure to your camp in the desert. There you will have the chance to see the magical sunset in the desert and the sky full of stars. After dinner in the camp you will enjoy listening to traditional Berber music before sleeping there.

Our exciting plan for today is a tour arround the Dunes of Erg Chebbi by 4x4. We will start our trip with the visit of the Lake of Merzouga (Lac Dayet Srij), also called the flamingo's lake. You will enjoy the amazing nature by seeing the lake, the Black Desert and the golden Sand Dunes. Then we will continue our way to a top of a mountain, where you will have a fantastic panoramic view to see the Sand Dunes from above and we will visit the old mines there. After that you have the chance to visit the Berber Nomads in their traditional tents to have a break for tea with them. We will continue our trip to Dar Gnawa to listen to the unique Gnawa music. After our lunch break we will take you to the Green Desert and visit Hassilabied. Our tour will end after this in your hotel.

In the morning after breakfast you will meet your driver then leave the Sahara desert full of unforgettable impressions from your lovely time there. We will start our trip toward Boumalne dades. We will pass by many old and interesting Berber villages on this way. The first stop will be in Todgha valley where you will have free time to hike and explore the gorges. After lunch we will drive toward Boumalne dades. Along the way you will enjoy seeing many diferent landscapes, we will have stops in the best points to catch a perfect pictures before we drop you to your hotel in Dades valley

In the morning we will leave Boumalne dades and start our trip to the berber village of Ait benhaddou passing by many interseting berber villages, on our way we will stop in rose valley to enjoy visiting a roses cooperative to learn how they get many products from roses. After that we continue our road to Ouarzazate, called also the “Hollywood of Africa“. Your driver will take you there to visit the most attractive places such as Atlas Movies Studio and Taourirt Kasbah. After that we will have our lunch break in Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, after lunch you will have the chance to explore this world heritage site then drop you to your hotel in Ait Benhaddou.

After breakfast your driver will join you to your accommodation to start your journey toward Marrakech, the red city. Along the way we will have stops in the best points to enjoy the panoramic views of Ounila valley with its beautiful berber villages. After we head to Telouet you will have the chance to explore one of the famous Kasbah in this area, we will have our lunch break in the high Atlas Mountains then we continue our way to Marrakech passing through Tizi n’Tichka pass, then drop you to your hotel / riad.

After breakfast our guide will join you to your accommodation to start a full day tour to explore Marrakech Medina. The visit will cover the most attractive and famous touristic places in Marrakech such as El Bahia palace, Mallah (the Jewish quarter), El badi palace, Saadiyenne tombs and the koutoubia Mosque. After lunch your driver will pick you up to visite Majorelle garden. After that you will have free time to explore the old Medina and Jmaa lafna square. In the end of your visit you will meet your driver to drop you to your hotel / riad.

In the morning your driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech, then drive toward the coastal city Essaouira, called also Mogador, passing through Chichaoua city. Along the way you will enjoy the landscapes of Argan trees, if you have chance you will see goats climbing trees to eat argan fruit. After that we will stop in a local Argan cooperative to lean how they get oil from fruits to use it to make Argan products. After lunch in this beautiful seaside city you will have free time to explore the famous sites of Mogador such as the old Medina, souks, traditional port and squala. In the end of your visit, your driver will meet you then drop you to your accommodation Hotel/Riad

You will have free time to explore Essaouira, the charming old fishing city on the coast of Morocco and visit the most attractive places, historic and touristic such as the Medina, the fishing market, squala, the ramparts and the beach. After you enjoy your lunch you will meet your driver to leave Mogador toward Casablanca, the economic city in Morocco. Passing through Safi and Eljadida city then drop you to your hotel in Casablanca.
