Itinerary




Day 1: starting from Casablanca. Destination: Midelt.

The 5 days tour from Casablanca starts when our driver picks you up from your hotel in Casablanca at 8:00 am. The destination is Meknes City. This city used to be a military base for the Romans and the Almoravids. Meknes was reformed by Moulay Ismael in the 18th century. This city has fascinating views that you would enjoy visiting, such as Sahrij Swani. This monument was used as a food storage facility. Also, El-Hedim would be a good place to visit. It is compared to Jamaa El-Fena in Marrakech. Later, we can also visit the Grand Mosque of Meknes. This mosque covers approximately 3,500 square meters. The city is also known for its Roman architecture. Thirty kilometers away from Meknes, we will discover Volubilis. This place is an archaeological Roman site that is well preserved. It contains many Roman mosaics and Latin inscriptions. That will be the last place to visit in Meknes. Later, we will resume our journey to Ifrane, which is considered the Switzerland of Morocco. This city is known for its European architecture. Many tourists come to Ifrane for skiing. This city is also famous for its rich wildlife, as the woods of Cedar are inhabited by monkeys called Barbary macaques. Our next stop is Midelt, where we will spend the night, ending the first day of the tour from Casablanca.

Day 2: From Midelt passing by Ziz Valley to Merzouga Desert.

After having breakfast in the Riad/ hotel, we start the second day of 5 days tour from Casablanca, we set off to Sahara desert passing by Middle Atlas Mountains. On the road, we make stops for pictures. As we drive to Erfoud, we get the chance to see Ziz valley. Arfoud’s weather is imbued with the fragrance of desert. It is the gate to the Sahara Desert near Merzouga. If we are lucky enough to be there during the weekly market day, we get the chance to have a look at the small shops that sell indigenous products that you can buy as souvenirs. Later, we continue to the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga where you get the chance to experience camel trek and spend the night in a Berber nomad camp at the heart of the desert.

Day 3: From Merzouga, passing by Toudra Gorges to Dades Gorges then to palm groves of Skoura, and finally to Ouarzazat.

After having breakfast in Merzouga, we wave farewell to the dunes of Merzouga and set off to Gorges of Toudra. On the way, we make a stop in Tinjdad to rest for a while then we continue to Toudra valley. Tinghir is one of the oldest trading centers in Moroccan history, it's 604 Km far from Casablanca. This small city has a naturally sculpted scenery. This gorge is a river that passes between two high mountains standing as walls. This place has a variety of wildlife and the view is amazing. There, you have the chance to climb the mountains and see some of the local products. There, we have lunch then set off to Dades valley. This location is another creation of nature that would capture your heart and makes you love Morocco more. Not far from Dades is Qellat Magouna AKA Rose valley. This city is known for a yearly festival that is crowned with damask rose harvest. We continue our way to Ouarzazat where we spend the night. This ends the 3rd day of 5 days tour from Casablanca.

Day 4 : Ouarzazate, Ait Benhaddou, Telouet Kasbah & Marrakech.

Ouarzazat is located 433 km from Casablanca, and is a historic city with many kasbahs to visit. The first one is Taourirte Kasbah, which is a great representation of Berber architecture. The buildings are made of clay and reeds. Next, we will move on to Ait Ben Haddou village. This place has been the destination of many movie makers, such as "Lawrence of Arabia", "Jesus of Nazareth", "Gladiator", and "Game of Thrones", specifically the scene in which Daenerys unleashes the fury of her dragons for the first time. This place is listed by UNESCO as a worldwide cultural site. After that, we will drive to the grand Telouet Kasbah. This kasbah is a stronghold built by the ruler of Atlas, Thami Pasha, and was a trading center for caravans. Finally, we will drive to Marrakech via Tichka.

Day 5: Marrakech sightseeing & Casablanca.

Once arriving to Marrakech, you will be accompanied by a professional tour guide. He will take you to Bahia palace that is built by Si Musa in 1859 then continued to expand by his son Bahmad Ibn Musa. Today, it is considered a tourist attraction. We also visit the Saadian Tomb that is located on the south side of the Kasbah Mosque. We will also take a walk in the Souk of Marrakech. There, you will enjoy the Bazaar shops and buy some souvenirs to take back home. We also visit Jack Majorelle garden. It is a peaceful place in the city that contains plants from different parts of the world. We finish our exploration of Marrakech by visiting Jemaa El-Fnaa. This place is so vivid and restless. There, you have the chance to see storytellers and snake charmers. You can also get a Henna Tattoo. There, we have lunch and say goodbye to Marrakech. We finish our 5 days tour by going back to Casablanca where we take you to your hotel.

Meknes

Meknes is a Moroccan city Founded in the fourth century Before Christ, it is the sixth largest city in the Kingdom of Morocco after Casablanca, Fes, Sale, Tanger and Marrakech. The city of Meknes is divided into 2 provinces: El Menzah and Ismailia. Meknes is 238 km northeast of Casablanca, Meknes is 455 km northwest of Merzouga, 474 km northeast of Marrakech, and 152 km east of the Moroccan capital. Among the most prominent landmarks of Meknes are: Place el-Hedim, Grand mosque of Meknes, Bab Mansur al-'Alj, Bab Jama' an-Nouar, Mausoleum of Moulay Isma'il and Bab el-Khemis.

Marrakech

Marrakeh is a Moroccan city. it was founded in the year 1062, the third largest city in the Kingdom of Morocco after Fes and Casablanca. It is a city called the Red City, and the Amazigh language is the land of God. Marrakech is 557 km west of Merzouga, 474 km southwest of Meknes, and 207 km Southwest of the Moroccan capital, Rabat. Among the most prominent landmarks of Marrakech are: Jemaa el-Fnaa, Souks, Mellah, City walls and gates, Mosques, Tombs, Gardens, Palaces and Riads and Hotels.

Merzouga

20 km away in the Sahara Desert near the eastern Algerian border, there is Merzouga, a small Moroccan city located in the southeast of the Kingdom of Morocco.It is considered a tourist city par excellence, where hundreds of tourists visit it every month.This city is known as Dayet Sergi Lake, which is a seasonal salt lake, dry in summer, it is also known for its wide sandy areas and the spread of what is known as Erg Chebbi. Merzouga is 557 km east of Marrakech, 455 km Southeast of Meknes, and 597 km Southeast of the Moroccan capital.
